This patient had outstanding oral hygiene and his teeth were in excellent condition, however he had a large area of gum recession on one of his lower molars. The patient elected to have soft tissue grafting done in the area to prevent any decay from developing on the exposed root surface. We were able to cover the area of recession with thick, healthy gum tissue taken from the roof of his mouth. The patient was very happy with the final results of this procedure.
